BCA has send a reminder to the industry to clarify on the latest requirement for PTO Applications after 1 Oct 2025:
- 📝 Submission of mill test certificates (for all new pto applications and recomm applications with replacement of suspension ropes)
- ♿️ Submission of accessibility checklist (for full passenger lift replacement or major A/R works to passenger lifts involving changes to car mass by more than or equal to 5% or car door)
- 🛗 Full FI replacement (replacing entire system including lift guide rails, lift landing door, lift car, escalator truss) has to come in as new PTO application instead of recommissioning. Old FI records should be terminated in LEAP system.
